  To answer Redknights question, no.

They're just stand-alone bunkers. Most are identical.

Is it worth a trip from O'Fallon, IL? Can you get into any of the bunkers and is there any real security?

I went recently and most of the bunkers are welded shut, but some are still open

Most if not all have been welded or have a concrete cylinder placed outside of them. The last time I was out there, on murder loop near Pine trail, near the murder bunker there is a air vent/intake 2x3ft portal into one of the bunkers, where one can see the infrastructure that use to be in some of the bunkers.

[Advise mask or some protection from possible asbestoses.]
