On the second floor, the floor is covered with what looks like smashed ceiling tiles. Those aren't asbestos are they? I hope not because none of us has breathers. But why would asbestos tiles be in a small office building?

Because asbestos tiles are fireproof, and the dangers of asbestos were not known when the tiles were installed.

If that's the case, hopefully they were damp; Otherwise I'm afraid you're looking at a month or two to live , maximum. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

HAhahah...'Dukes, 'Dukes, 'Dukes. Why must you pull their leg?? Exposure like that is definately a two -> three week death sentence of utter pain and horror. Hell, they're probably dead already and will never respond to this.

Well, not a lot of it would burn, due to asbestos. So, whatever was not insulated would be burned, and the insulated stuff would remain.

A fire at work isn't always a bad thing. Just ask Milton. "And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire..."
