A fine example of design from the '60s.

The circular bit insdide that weird dome is actually a small kitchen, equipped with only a sink and a fridge (empty). I couldn't figure out what kind of practical use it could have, except maybe to hold a few drinks? They couldn't have made any food in that tiny thing. It was a cute find.

It might the best example of 60's architeture in the whole country. At the time it was built the media buzzword was "sexy". In Toronto The Good? Something was in the air folks, and yes, Canadians, indeed, were being discovered to be a rather "sexy" people.

Hrmm.. a sink and a fridge? Sounds more like a bar than a kitchen. Just about every living room from the 60'2 has a bar, so why not a bar in City Hall council chambers?!

The building originally had concrete furniture like desks to compliment its architecture. They still have some of it.
