But the fountain is FINALLY properly working, which never fully happened before, so at least that's nice.

i agree, but the gas connections and all were installed it was the fire department that refused the proper setup at the stadium. Jean Drapeau wanted public art in HOMA/Rosemont.

i just dont understand the cities reasoning, is it any safer next to the palais des congres??? in the jardin la joute it was in a space designed to stop people from being set on fire like nel :P

It's prolly safer cause no one is in that sector of town at night. Except homeless but who's gonna cry to the city about a few homeless guys burning, right? And I think that district was Robert Larramée's district at the time of the decision (the crazy elected that voted a motion making it illegal to social groups to set up in his district! He's also the former BF of Boisclair...).

well the jardin la joute did have 1 problem, it wasnt open to the public, it was the interesting oasis in a concrete wasteland

There are people at night and a sweet guard that gently invites you out of the water before it ignites..there is a schedule, posted ..never seen homeless people but tourists and wanderers like me...the mist goes out from faucets all over the park...let me tell you,at 35C in the evening, wearing a skirt in that mist is heavenly divine !!
