I used to live here in the 1970's starting in 3rd grade. It was the coolest place to live. Exclusive. There was a gym and the most awesome pool with a high dive and the best slides, and actual lifeguards. We all had to have membership cards. It was like a country club but without the snobbery. They had the coolest playground, game room, just everything. We used to walk to get candy and Slurpees from the 7-11 around the corner, or go to the movies at Eastgate Cinema all by ourselves and other times with my Daddy. So much fun to be a kid then.
