Originally she was a troop transport, so without a lot of weight she rides very high. I am not 100% sure if she is truly floating, or beached on the lake bed...

she is probably floating as most lake ports offer at least 20 feet of anchorage at its shallowest the closed parts of the port of montreal are 28 feet and seaway draft is 27 feet so the aquarama with empty ballast tanks is riding at 12 feet, that is extremely high

i just checked, buffalo gives its harbour depth at ALL slips as 27 feet, so aquarama is sitting quite high

Interesting! She doesn't bob or move around at all - although this isn't any wake in this slip. But, even in high-winds I haven't seen her move more than a few millimeters...
Thanks for that infor though - it actually is important to phase-2 of the exploration...

a ship of her size wont move much when moored, i was on the empty hull of windoc with her ballast tanks empty and she didnt move much
