now if you could only have underexposed about 2/3 of a stop, you would not have gotten all that glare! this is a great photo, btw:)

yeah, well, tel nikon to make the coolpix 2100 to do that, and I'll do my best to eliminate the glare.

didnt i say that this was a great photo? that usually means i like it. you know what would make it better, though?.....less glare!
you would have me believe that your camera doesnt have ANY kind of exposure compensation?

it doesn't have anything that anyone would call "2/3 of a stop" I can tell you that much.

I can however go through 9 menus and change the exposure rate. May be the same thing...but nothing about my camera says "2/3 of a stop" So take your pro-sumer termonology elsewhere.

yep thats exposure control. if you were to take this photo again, you would shift that selector to the left about 2 dots or spaces or whatever youve got. i can show you at apex.
and exposure is referred to in terms of "stops."
thats old-school photography lingo.:P

Monkey Boy, the spelling and internet diction you've displayed is going to make me hang myself.

I believe it was John Wayne (or some other cowboy that WASN'T in Brokeback Mountain) that said, "We don't take kindly to strangers 'round these parts".

John Wayne WAS in Brokeback Mountain, starring alongside such talents as George W. Bush.
