Description
Final stage under construction still. Note refrigerated lines running to expanders in bedrock to freeze ground water. The only sound down this far was the slow hum of the condensers.

  It also helps keep the ground more solid than if the water was liquid. The damp soil is more likley to fow and collapse than frozen soil. It makes it like permafrost.

  They tried to freeze our hot water lines ones to make a joint without having to dewater the entire system. Unfortunately, they tried it at the hottest day in years and well... I was sitting in my room and suddenly heard gluckgluckgluckgluckfsss and then some cursing :-P
