The big pipe must have come from there. What else lived up there is anyone's guess. Whatever it was, it was very big, and I'm forced to wonder what happened to it.

Ha, very good point! Building A could have done just that. It has a few separate shops, and one of them (see further photos) was signposted as a chemical plant of some sort.
It's an attractive theory. However, I saw nothing that would move the vinyl pellets from one building to the other (where the storage silos were).
