  TZ: Indeed! Have you visited Bill Drummond's website www.penkiln-burn.com ? Total madness.

Lost: I spent about 3 hours in Blaenau and have to admit I was glad to be leaving at the end of it, as it did get pretty depressing! There's loads more to discover though, so I'll be returning. My next target is the abandoned valley of Cymorthin, just down the road from Blaenau.

  I guess seeing a few pictures doesn't do the place justice. There are a lot of places like this in Scotland too - nice to pass through but depressing after a while.
