It's hard to get a full appreciation for how big this room is. When I shouted down into it, I heard an echo for literally well over three seconds. It doesn't sound like a lot, but believe me, it's huge.

it's probably better you didn't...I was thinking about how Dukes described these ladders and they have been in a moist environment for how long? Rust never sleeps... THAT looks like a loooooong way down.

The Sinter plant , the evil one; they tried to destroy that years ago; that' s one to be cautious in; like Samurai said, concrete floors shouldn't have holes but they do.

another thing about this tank is that with storage tanks, sometimes you get pockets of dead air... it's hard to explain and I didn't get all of it either during training, but sometimes when you have a storage tank, seal pit or other confined space, the air gets depleted of oxygen and becomes 'dead'... have you even been in a confined space and felt out of breath even though you weren't straining yourself? That's the air beginning to go bad. As for the process of why and how long, that part went right over my head and killed someone behind me.
