Before postage machines with digital scales any large place of business had a large accurate scale like this. A friend actually bought the one at S&T and uses it to weigh all his packages!

That's possibly the crustiest Toledo Scale I've seen.

In fact, those Toledo scales have been used in factories that I have worked in, and were very old, but held up well. I remember this furniture factory I worked in, in Va, had a ton of em.
