I figured that I didn't have much time to set up to take artistic shots, which turned out to be correct (more on that in the story section), and there was close to zero light throughout most of the club, so I had to rely heavily on my flashlight to focus. Oh, and yes, I used a flash (SB-800 speedlight) for all except the external shots, but considering that the front door area was the only place where I had to worry about people seeing it, there wasn't an issue.
