The trip was to go to a cabin up in the Kootenay that my boss so graciously let us use for a romantic getaway. It took us about 5 hrs to reach our destination. A person can take a lot of pictures in that time. We spotted Sandon on the way there. It turns out the destination itself was a ghost town. It was a town that never really became. We've got to take this trip again knowing what we know now.
