The water level in the reservoir has dropped to less than 12% of capacity. On Dec 6th, there was something just starting to poke out of the water. It looked like some ruins or remains of the old resort town of "Cannon" that once thrived in this canyon. When I went back today (Dec 12th), it was gone! Looks like maybe the Santa Clara Valley Water district "claimed" the artifacts? I doubt it was junk as it was in the middle of the reservoir and could have rolled to there from the side/shore. It was definitely something there from when the dam was built in 1935 and the canyon was flooded.
