Built sometime in the 1890's as the John Lauson Engine Factory - which was founded in New Holstein in 1867.
Acquired by Tecumseh Products Company in 1958 who operated the plant until it's closure in 2007. Some time after, it was bought by Heus Manufacturing - who fell into foreclosure and let the building fall into disrepair.
Bought by the city of New Holstein sometime in 2018 with grant money from the state, and finally demolished in the Fall of 2022.
