I was only able to access one building, but the sealed gym looked nearly pristine.
Lots of leftovers in the classroom building; posters, drawings, furniture, etc.
Big water tower on the property which is still standing.

I don't have much specific history on this site, but West End School opened in 1927, and served students of the area from first grade to the twelfth grade. It was closed in 1969, after graduating that year's class of students.
Throughout the years, the gym and three other remaining buildings have been used for various community events and activities; including a square-dancing group, and as a voting site.
Due to the costs involved in maintaining the buildings, they would be demolished in 2019.
