Homburg station is a former railway station along railway line 38 in Homburg, (French: Hombourg), a borough of the commune of Plombières.

During the Second World War the station was requisitioned by Adolf Hitler and became part of the Deutsche Reichsbahn.
Every day there were six outward and return journeys to the German Aachen via Hindel, Montzen and Bushausen. This shuttle was put into use when the tunnel between Hombourg and Hindel was replaced. The Belgian army had blown up this tunnel in 1940.

After the closure of the station, the site remained neglected for years until it was sold in 1981 together with 2 kilometers of railway to a private person who wanted to start a railway museum there. To this end, the building was restored and the railroad until railway line 24 in Montzen was re-established in 1999 by the owner of the station.

Le Chemin de Fer des Trois Frontières

The railway association Chemin de Fer des Trois Frontières (Railroad the Three Borders), founded in 2009, aims to realize a tourist railway between Hombourg and Raeren, via Montzen. In doing so, they refurbish the train equipment that the aforementioned private individual has sponsored.
