Eau du Soleil is a two tower complex that is nearly topped off at 749 and 553 feet. Featuring a gorgeous unobstructed view of the skyline, it's by far the nicest condo in the Humber Bay Shores neighborhood.

Well, as far as this particular building goes, there's no interesting history. However the development of this section of the city is why I chose to make this post.
Park Lawn and Lakeshore (Humber Bay Shores) has seen a dramatic rise in the construction of condos. Back in the 90's, it was a sleazy motel strip full of crime; eventually it became apparent that the land had to be re appropriated. The debate was between whether or not it should be used as industrial/work space like the Cristie factory, or if it should be the site of condo construction. The latter won. Nowadays the issue isn't with crime; In fact Humber Bay Shores is an awesome place to live, scenic and booming. However the development of transit hasn't correlated with the influx of thousands of new residents, and the congestion is atrocious.

As the Cristie factory was just plowed, even more condos are sure to go up just across the street. Hopefully, with them will also come comprehensive transit and/or road plans.
Empire Communties, the developer, is also in the midst of designing other towers in the city.
