 Overview
 Description
A small fast food restaurant on a busy suburban thoroughfare. It was adjacent to this location http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=23088 And close to http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=25144 too.

The distinctive gull wing roof served as covered parking for curb service customers. I remember the buzz of the transformers in the yellow fluorescent bug lights which supposedly kept mosquitos away while making your food look unappetizing.

     History
Apparently when this opened it was a Burger Chef, I don't recall that but I do recall when it was a Hardees.

Hardees back in the 1960s-1970s era was not like Hardees / Carls Jr today. For one thing the burgers were smaller and cheaper as in low end of the price spectrum. But they were good. We ate there often as a family of four for about $5 or $6 out the door.

Im not sure if any other re-incarnations ever existed here its been boarded up as long as I can remember. And around this time it had become accessible. I thought I would give it a quick look but about 10 seconds inside was all I could bear.

Years worth of pigeon poo or guano had accumulated on the floor, then fermented into one of the most foul smelling stenches imaginable. Not wishing to inhale some St. Louis encephalitis, I bailed out in less time than it took to get in.

Place was gutted of any and all vestiges of the former restaurant anyway so, this is it. Just some recovered pics from 2005. Its been gone a long long time now.
