The cargo elevator is still intact, though non- functional as the building's utilities have all been disconnected. There used to by a wide variety of junk laying around, but that has since been removed after an arson attempt.

Originally a cardboard factory, the building was utilized as a warehouse and a shoe factory, before finally being bought by a man who converted it into a "junk shop" of sorts. Eventually, his family sold the building to the city in 2012, where it sat until it was renovated in 2017.

Renovations are nearly complete as of January 2018, and it will open to tenants as a low income housing block in Spring 2018.
