 Overview
 Description
Abandoned railroad tunnel hidden back in the forest. To find it, you have to find the old rail line and follow it into the woods. The tunnel is concrete and is 22 feet wide, 28 feet tall, and 1,042 feet long. The south end is completely blocked by a landslide and the tunnel is filled with several feet of stagnant water which gets deeper as you go. In the summer, you will have to fight through thorn bushes and huge spider webs to find it.

     History
Grimms Bridge Tunnel was built in 1933 during the construction of the Pittsburgh Coal Company private railroad, a thirteen-mile section of track that ran from Negley, Ohio to Smiths Ferry on the Ohio River. In 1963, a mining accident on top of the tunnel caused a landslide which completely blocked the south end of the tunnel. After rerouting the tracks around the tunnel, the railroad was closed in 1965 but the tracks remained until 1995. Its name comes from nearby Grimms Bridge which carries Grimms Bridge Road over Little Beaver Creek.
