James would eventually become the Postmaster for Trafalgar township. The home was last lived in by a family in 2007, once they moved out the local teenagers, druggies and squatters took over - all but destroying the entire home. Despite many attempts to seal the doors and windows vandals still made their way in and managed to trash every room in the house.
