Most of the town sits on about 100 acres, with abandoned houses and buildings dotting the landscape. The majority of the buildings probably won't be standing for another 10 years. Tons of debris, old possessions, and engine parts are scattered everywhere.

*Update as of Oct. 2021; Many of the abandoned structures have collapsed. Minor development is underway, consisting of art projects and an Air B&B.

When this town was abandoned, interestingly, most of the residents left all of their possessions behind. Some of the houses still have fully stocked fridges, wardrobes, and even the keys laying on the kitchen counter. Near the south end, you can see a rotting pink hose. This was used to bring water to the city many years ago.

Cisco used to be a thriving town in the late 1800's to early 1900's. It served as a stopping point for the railroad, and its population was as high as 323. After steam locomotives fell out of use, so did Cisco.
