The plant was last known to make and packaged beef and turkey franks, as well as sliced smoked bacon. The facility closed in 1997 and has sat abandoned ever since. In June of 2010 a 3 alarm fire broke out at the plant around 11:45 AM and burned late into the night before being extinguished causing considerable damage to roughly half of the plant.
