Small 40's farmhouse in B.F.N. Texas with a mysterious isolation chamber in the middle and home at one point to a violent felon. Inside the house we found prison release documents, a prison shank, and a gram or two of cocaine. **********UPDATE!!!********** The Inmate's house now possibly has a semi-active population. Drove by around 11pm on 4/30/11 and there was a green Chevy pickup chilling outside with several people around it heading for the house. I'm curious, was anyone out there exploring, as I put it in the UE DB, or is someone moving in? ***Update 12/6/11*** Burned to the ground, along with the house next door. RIP, old friend.

Judging by the looks of the place, this lovely ranch house was built in the late 40's to early 50's and is a pier and beam foundation 1000-1300sq ft house quintessential of rural Texas. The problem with such is that any and all history of this little house has completely fallen in the cracks of time. Rural counties such as the one this house is located in are notoriously lax about recordkeeping, especially on rural homesteads. What I do know is that a family occupied the house from around 1982 till 2008ish, and they still technically own the home, even though it is very obviously abandoned. Around 1998 or 1999 from the looks of it, someone turned one of the bedrooms into an "isolation chamber", that is, boarded up 2/3 doors completely with thick plywood and sturdy nails, and the last doorway was covered with the same thick plywood but was hinged to serve as a door, with a thick lock and handle on the outside only. The house has been vacant since about 2006 and since then it has been trashed by vicious Texas prairie storms, and extensive damage has been done to the house; however, on all my trips, the most recent being in 3/2011, there was evidence of recent vagrant inhabitation.
