     History
Discovered by hippies in the 60's. A natural hot spring with water seeping and bubbling up through the meadows of a small field alongside a mountain river. Kept a local secret, concrete pools were built to hold the hot spring water to soak and bath in.

In the late 20th century, the natural spring water was piped down the mountain to a pool at the newly built resort. Now open to the public, the "hot spring pool" is a popular destination to soak away your pains and troubles. The resort also has camping and small "A" frame cabins for rent.

The original "hot springs" is a 15-minute hike along a mountain trail. No longer used, the field is now overgrown with thorn bushes and poison ivy, but is still somewhat accessible.
