     History
It opened in 1995 with Billy Ray Cyrus as its first performer, and in the span of 12 years saw dozens if not hundreds more, plus graduations and civic events. The last concert was Toby Keith on Sept. 16, 2007. Farm Aid was held there in 2003, and I personally own a lot of recordings from there.
The amphitheater held 6700 seats, though many of them are now missing, and had room for 13,000 more on the lawn. It was similar in design to amphitheaters in Burgettstown, PA, Clarkston, MI, Tinley Park, IL, Noblesville, IN, and elsewhere.
The Columbus Dispatch reported rising property values in the area and competition from other area venues led to its demise. It is currently for sale, but with the real estate market in meltdown in 2009, nothing appears on the horizon.

     Future Plans
For sale, but poor housing market may delay that
