  •  Interesting Features
Several buildings that appear from the old west

2X edit: while some of these buildings appear to be real most are just shells or false fronts much like a movie set. Those with 4 walls and interior spaces have been boarded, locked and or nailed shut. The saloon had some furniture and other props for display but nobody actually got served any whiskey in there. The street lay out is similar to what we like to think an old west town was like with different mercantiles saloons etc. There is (or was see my gallery) a working stable and modern type livestock or rodeo arena as well as other support buildings associated with the theme park itself

     History
Unable to find any history other than the site "may" be for sale.

2X edit: to the best of my memory (I never actually went there when it was open) Old Fort Dallas was like a theme park tourist trap thing with fake gun fights and other shows. It didnt last too long then it was sold or morphed into some sort of Mexican party rental facility hosting concerts, weddings, etc. My best recollection was it was built in the early 1980s and shut down in the early 1990s. There was a sign calling it Shadow Creek Ranch for a while. I have not been by there since 05
