     History
The Valley National Bank Building was finished in 1931. It has a prominent art deco style to its architecture. At that time it was the tallest building in Arizona. Valley National Bank later opened up the building next to it in 1973 which was called the Valley National Tower. Later the Valley National Tower was changed to the Bank One tower and today it is known as the Chase Tower.

This 1931 Valley National Bank building is now owned by Grace Communities who has been in the process of renovating the building since 2007 to make into a luxury 150 room, boutique style hotel. They state that there will be upscale eateries inside this building when it is complete along with a bar in the "vault", and a night club on the roof. They are teaming up with vintage style architects to make sure it stays truly art deco flavored.
