2 moderately-sized buildings, with bland architecture. It's almost unrecognizable now, compared to the pictures i posted about 2-3 years ago. A total wreck inside.

This place has been completely destroyed by scrappers, town kids and whoever else takes joy in picking things up and smashing them.

I can't find much history on the place, but i know that it began as a regular hospital facility in the 1940's, because my mother was born there. I also read that sometime in the 1980's or 1990's it was changed to a short term psychiatric hospital, because i know people who stayed there. It closed in 2004.
It was built as Wyoming Valley Hospital, and was later renamed First Hospital.
Demolition began in 2014, and low income housing was built with cameras and 24hr security as the neighborhood is blighted and crime ridden.

I read, that it was supposed to be leveled and turned into housing, but i heard that a few years ago and nothing has happened yet.
