I kinda imagined they would tear it down real soon, the farm is situated dead straight on a big crossing near the highway. It is kinda in the way of some newbuilds, soo... I forgot about it for years, but recently drove by and saw that it was still standing. And, surprisingly, they have build a complete hotel in its backyard without tearing down this farm. Great! The new fence, obviously to keep bored hotel guests of the property, is rather high, but there is a loophole ;-) The farm itself is very typical for a traditional Dutch farm of its age and location. Nice to see one in its ahum original state... The main house is in pretty good condition, albeit completely stripped empty and trashed here and there. The stables is another story, not much is left of it. I have found dates of farm workers employed here in the 1750s... It is supposedly a city monument, however it does not appear on the monument list of their website.
