History
The history of this place goes back before the 1930's but I only ever knew the place while I was growing up here as a thrift store. Sometime in the late 70's I think the economy in downtown went sour, so all the old places became thrift stores magic shops and at one point we even had a comic book store which was great while it lasted but that went out in the 90s.
One of my mom's friends ran this place just before they shut it down for it being very old an unsafe, I would ask her about it but she moved off to Cali and haven't heard from her since. The place closed down for the last time in either 03 or 02, and then they demo'ed it in 04 I believe. Which is a real shame because this was a really cool place with lots of cool stuff in it.

This has now been fully rebuilt into a courtyard for a neighboring pub. Picnic benches and rebuilt brickwork etc...

Future Plans
Well the city is trying very hard to renew downtown with some success but it will likely be a long time before they put something new here.
