     History
Originally an Army communications post, it was turned over to the Air Force in 1965. When they left, the base was then handed over to the Kenai Native Association, who leased part of the property to use as a correctional center.
This building itself was part of the army's ASA and was a severely regulated site, even the guards never got to go in certain rooms.
