History
This place was pretty famous in ancient China. The college was designed by some French missionaries called Hong Chuan. Time flies, and by 2008, it had been around for a full century, but it still couldn't hide its beauty. She remembers that they brought marble and wood from abroad to build her, and even the clock tower, which used to be the worship place, was made of stained glass shipped from overseas. The missionaries' original goal was to teach some serious religious knowledge.
After China was liberated, they turned her into a primary school, and at that time, she still stuck to her original mission. But when the White Deer town built a new elementary school at the mountain's foot, she slowly got forgotten and abandoned. Fortunately, being hidden in the mountains, she never suffered any big destruction or changes since her construction a century ago. The local villagers treated her like the original building.
From some old pictures taken a century ago, you can see that she's one of those typical European-style courtyard buildings, with a unique Roman style and mixed architecture. The college covers a total area of 18,000 square meters, with a building area of 2,500 square meters, and a construction area of over 5,000 square meters. She's experienced centuries of changes and upheavals, and not many people knew she existed until recently when someone found her unique charms.
But with one sudden earthquake, lasting only eight seconds, Castle Peak, green water, rouge, white roses, smiles...everything disappeared. She died, and people standing before the ruins cried in pain, with tears of helplessness. In the past few days after the earthquake, the Sichuan people have faced many obstacles and dedicated themselves to rebuilding their homeland, moving the whole world. I hope she can hold on, and I look forward to seeing her stand up again.
