It only stayed open for a short while closing in 1959. However, it was renovated and re-opened in 1961. But business was slow. It soon became apparent that in order to get business from the nearby students they would have to show adult (B) movies and serve beer. It stayed open using this format until the 70s. Now it is just rotting away in a lonely country pasture like many other drive-ins situated in the country.  Media Coverage  Future Plans This one is probably too far gone to resurrect unfortunately so its plans are probably just to succumb to the elements.
