This is an old abandoned girl scout camp. There used to be a road that you could drive all they way up to the site, but the very beginning of the road is now someone's backyard and one would have go through that backyard to access the road on the other side. The road itself is no longer discernible as a road... it's more like heavily overgrown and covered with leaves, brush, plants, saplings, downed trees and branches, and poison oak. A night entry would be futile as you would undoubtedly get lost in the confusing terrain. The area is totally covered in tall trees and a night visit would yield absolutely no full moon possibility. The structures themselves consist of a troop "mother" house (porch, family room, fireplace, bedroom and bathroom), kitchen / mess hall with outside walk-up windows, a couple outhouses, a shower room and about a half a dozen or so bunk "cabins" which can house anywher from 4 to 6 beds. Half of the structures are across the other side of a creek which is flowing water. The bridge which spans this creek is gone and only way is to cross the creek which has steep and slippery embankments. I didn't get to the other side. The kitchen has several appliances (all propane or electric) including ranges, ovens, refrigerators, and freezers. The troop "mother" cabin has several bunk cots which have appear to been inhabited by homeless squatters at one point in time, yet there was no evidence of recent habitation. There is NO graffiti and the only windows that are broken are from tree branches that have fallen on / in them or from general structure failure over time of deterioration and collapse.

I could not find ANY history on this place. It's quite old and deteriorated, but I do know that it was a girl scout camp as my source who told me about it said he talked to a local resident old-timer who indicated so. In the meantime, I'm still trying dig up more history on this place.
