A 1500 square foot concrete block and tilt wall office building and workshop with about 1 acre of land on an abandoned rail spur. There is extensive fire damage to the office area but little or no vandalism. Theres also an assortment of chemical drums and containers on site some hazardous and some unlabeled. There was an antique 8 cylinder in-line automobile engine, a couple of lathes and a few other machines stored in here as well as quite a few 55 gallon drums of various chemicals, some are hazardous.

In the shadow of a giant computer warehouse and cut off from the rest of the industrial park by some abandoned rail road tracks, this little building seems to be a relic of what was a larger enterprise. Im not sure exactly what this location originally was before it was acquired by the current owner who manufactures sheet metal products in a nice looking modern plant next door, but its been here since 1971 which pre-dates the neighboring stuctures and even some of the streets in this area by more than 10 years. It looks like it could have been part of an older plant on this site and it has been used most recently as storage. An asphalt rail road crossing over the spur track leads toward the new plant and suggests you could drive in here from the south at one time. The roll up bay doors give a visual impression of an auto repair shop but nothing to support that such as lifts, air lines or grease stains were found. Aerial images indicate activity here as late as 2005. I guess the important part of this locations history is that it caught on fire then it was abandoned, more or less. And thats all that really matters. updated: satellite images show its been demolished
