Large basement with sub basements, and huge 15,000 V power feed, and funky old large boiler. The power is active in the building and various lights are still on. It doesn't look like anyone has been there recently. However someone must be checking up on it as the power is still active, and there seems to be a active thermostat in the basement. There are still a few locked doors to some apartments that remain to be explored on a few floors. The owner applied for a demolition permit back in 2004. They were requesting to turn it into a parking lot. The city allowed the demolition in principal. However they did not allow a parking lot to be placed there, instead they made the permit conditional upon the owner turning the remains into "open space". This option expired in May 2005, and the building remains. ...
