     Future Plans
The demolition and clean-up of the old Domtar paper mill in Cornwall, Ontario is currently underway.

The demolition of the mill will provide the city and landscape of Cornwall with 120 acres of prime real estate where the paper mill once stood.

Some windows and doors are being recycled. Copper and stainless steel components from inside the mill are being removed - some for recycling and reuse and some will just be for scrap.

The full demolition and environmental clean-up of the site is expected to take 2-3 years.
