     History
Vuaghn and Encino are old New Mexico towns with their roots in ranching and the railroad. Both were fairly active towns until the 1950s, when the rural lifestyle started to die in New Mexico. Since then, it has been a slow, lingering death for both towns. Abandonments are everywhere, and a person could spend several days just in these two little towns.

     Future Plans
These towns are dying. In 50 years, there won't be a person left in either one.
