Bunker is hidden in undergrowth and very few surface features betray its presence. Majority of the structure is underground. A 20 ft vertical ladder leads to an underground chamber 7 ft x 16 ft x 7 ft high. This would have housed 3 observers and their instruments plus rudimentary sleeping accommodation. Conditions were very primitive, there was no running water, gas or mains electric.
