Two story motel with attached diner. Gas bar out front. Separate hangar which used to contain pool, now storage. Gas bar is also inactive.
4.7.2023 - Long gone. It disappeared from Google Street Images sometime after September 2009. It is currently overflow parking for the Esso filling station.

With a Funky Art-Deco design, this place was kicking it back in the day. The two story motel and diner had undergone several fugly renovations. Some interesting design features visible in diner area, some interesting effects, old electronics in the apartments.
The large hangar-like structure used to contain a POOL and hot-tub for the motel guests way back when.

The Caribou Motel and Diner opened in the early 1950's and greeted hungry / tired travelers on their way back from the cottage up north. The motel converted to apartments in the 1980's. The apartments and adjoining diner closed in 2002.

None - this place is completely forgotten by all.

TO BE DEMOLISHED in April, 2007, to make way for a Wendy's / gas bar complex.
Update 25/04/2009: Was never demolished, and still stands, being left to rot. No signs of any further work being done.
