Although little information is readily available on this property, what is known is this:
In 1879 the property belonged to Joshua Bradley Jr. His father, Joshua Bradley, owned the land across the road, and also owned land in Stittsville. One of the Bradleys still lives on part of the Stittsville property.
In 1879 a house existed close to the location of the present houses and barn. The older house may actually date from this period, although it has been extensively renovated many times since.
The farmhouses and barn have been abandoned since at least 2002.
