The World Wide Web doesn't contain much if any history of this location. Most likely this was a light industrial or manufacturing operation but there is little evidence left to indicate exactly what it was. The structure itself has been altered since it was built too.
Three distinctly different types and ages of bricks were used on the exterior and even more on the interior suggesting extensive add-ons and remodeling. The front one story section appears to be newer with steel roof joists whereas the older 2 story section has wood beams. A headpiece on the new section is dated 1932-1950.
Its obvious this building has seen some hard times and maybe more than a couple of different business operations.
All I could find was it was used as a junk dealer or second hand store of some type in its later days.
There was two tin barn like stuctures on the property which may still be used for storage. Fresh tire tracks lead to and from the barns.
There are some ghost signs still visible in places but no graffiti. Wild animals and vagrant have sought shelter in here recently. I havent found much of anything else useful to report other than its a 75 year old abandoned building that needed to be explored.
UPDATE November 2007: DEMOLISHED the main building has been leveled only the foundation remains. A towing and truck tire service seems to be operating out of the tin buildings now
