The second floor was the appartment of the owner.

In fact, many stores like this one have disapeared thru the years. At a time, almost each village in Québec had this kind of store. For someone who has the "cash" and patience...it might worth to be repaired and probably used for something else. I have seen this store in a better condition 10 years ago, it was a very nice place. With many architecture details... Beware the patio on the second floor, in back opf store, does not give me confidence :s

That is a small typical old genral store like in many small villages. This one has been used by the same family and later, children until 1996. Has been left unused until 1999, when it has been bought by a guy who did repair buggy, carriage and so on. Apparently, because of many invoices not paid, the Caisse Populaire has seized the bldg. and land. Now it is unused since 2005 and left in a completely poor condition.

no media . Except that this store has been used twice for the movie "DIONNE QUINTS"...where peoples of the village did go to place a phone call and to hear news on radio :-)

Nothing is expected...but maybe if the Caisse pop sell the store.
