I drove by yesterday, and all the 1st floor windows are boarded up. This happened within the last week. There are also new signs posted around the property that read 'security notice: no loitering'. My guess is that some seedy people were hanging out around the school and the neigbors called the cops, then the cops had DPS board the place up.

Also known as the Byers School, DSA took over the building in 1997. The school was then closed at the end of the 2003 school year when DSA moved to its new site. Presumably, it was used as a junior high school before that.
