In 2004, this apartment building was closed due to a water main break, as well as inhumane living conditions. Since then, it's been purchased for renovations, then abandoned due to excessive vandalism. It was then picked up again, but abandoned once again due to an arson which engulfed the third floor. Renovations were successful the third time around and building was used for housing for some time until again being abandoned. After several more fires, the city decided to completely demolish the building in early 2020.
