The house once had a two-story porch on it, but the Historical Society had to remove it as it was unsafe. I don't know if they plan on rebuilding it. There's a large wooden building that used to be a kitchen, it's been restored. It was used as a stagecoach stop for a while before becoming the home of the Onion family. Judge John Onion died there while accidently drinking a bottle of Lamp Oil he mistook for wiskey.
