     History
North Park III as it was known or "3 North Park" most recently, was a marginally successful if short lived office and entertainment complex across the highway from one of the most successful shopping malls in Dallas, North Park Mall.

There was a cinema and restaurant as well as the office tower. Now number 3 has been demolished, imploded into its own basement to make room for Park Lane Place which promises to be a bigger more expensive and hopefully more successful mixed use complex.

I reconnoitered the location once in the summer of 2005 and a second time this year with a friend. And never found a way in so the inside remains shrouded in u.e. mystery! Well actually you could easily see inside through the glass and it was pretty unremarkable so Im not too disappointed that I didnt get to shoot the inside. Rather than dismiss it as a failed objective I decided to shoot the demolition and share some before during and after pics.
